She's back!

So I am back from the wild. Soon I will post pics from the backpacking trip Dave and I just went on, but since I am still busy washing dirty stinky clothes, I will first post some pics from before that I have been trying to get up here for a while.

A Rye Sunday

We had a beautiful Sunday (A couple weeks ago now... I know, I know... I'm a slacker). We went to the beach and then SOME of us got lobster, but I think all of us has a good time. Good times with the fam and the 'extras'.

Section 1

Last week Dave, two of his co-workers and I went to a Sox game. It was a blazing hot day and we had the great fortune of being in Section 1 where I swear the sun set last. We lost to Cleveland 6-3, but the beer was cold, and the popcorn was salty. Throughout most of the game there was this little black bird hopping around the field. It was cute but sad since it was pretty clear that it couldn't fly away. The bird had whole articles written about him afterwards.

Chloe (in ichat) In Peru

Just a quick post on Saturday... These are some shots from an attempted ichat with Chloe in Peru! What fun. And it even kind of worked! She is in PERU and I can SEE her. And talk to her. I heart my macbook. Also, I heart chloe! (I think that first one is pretty great).

Day Hike in the Fellsway

So these are shots from hiking around in this pretty nice chunk of woods that is JUST north of Somerville up 93 last Saturday. A couple are from this tiny little stream crossing. It was a nice hot day, hence the sweaty 'group' shot with a bit of Boston in the background. The Rock Circuit trail we hiked is pretty funny; lots of ups and downs over what are literally just big rocks, but I guess that's the only way to break a sweat in the woods this close to Boston.

Child Car "Series"

As the title aptly describes I believe, these first shots are of a toy child's car. Beautifully basic. The car is usually 'parked' in this park I walk through every work day; its part of the park's playground property I guess. I often see it abandoned since I walk through early or later compared to the park-goers who are sized to ride it. I think I will try to keep track of where I see it discarded when I can.
